Every Bali theme party we style starts from the same idea: a theme is not just a printed banner. It runs through the balloon palette, the backdrop, the cake, the tableware, the games the entertainer picks and the goodie bags — and when it is done properly, a four-year-old walks in and simply believes it. These are the themes we are asked for most in Bali:
Ocean, mermaid and under-the-sea
The most requested theme on the island, for obvious reasons. Blue and coral balloon arches, shell details, a mermaid-tail cake, treasure-hunt games in the garden. Pairs naturally with a pool party.
Jungle and safari
Greenery, animal prints, palm leaves and a cake with a tiger or elephant on it. Works beautifully in Ubud where the garden does half the styling for you, and it is the easiest theme for mixed ages.
Princess, fairy and unicorn
Pastels, tulle, a flower arch and a character visit. We keep the games gentle and the schedule short for the three-to-six crowd, with a craft station for making wands or crowns.
Superheroes and dinosaurs
For the five-to-nine group who want missions rather than decoration. Obstacle courses, team challenges, a dino dig in a sandbox, and prizes that actually get taken home.
Tropical and flamingo
The theme parents choose when they want the photographs to look like Bali. Bright florals, fruit towers, rattan details — and it doubles as a look adults are happy to stand in.

Which Service Do You Actually Need?
Most families overbuy or underbuy at exactly the same points, so here is the honest version.
If your child is turning one, you are planning an event for the adults — the birthday child will nap through part of it. Keep it to two hours, skip the entertainer, and put the budget into decor, cake and photographs. Our first birthday page covers the smash-cake setup.
If your child is two to four, the entertainer matters more than the decor. Small children do not notice a backdrop; they notice bubbles, a parachute and someone singing at them. Keep the guest list short — six to ten children is plenty at this age.
If your child is five to nine, this is the peak party age and the full package earns its money: a host, structured games, face painting and a cake moment. Add the pool if the villa has one.
If your child is ten or older, drop the entertainer entirely. This age wants a pool, music they chose, good food and adults standing further away. See teen parties.
If you only need one piece — a cake, a balloon backdrop, a face painter for two hours — that is completely normal and we quote it as a standalone. You do not have to take a package to get us.
