Face painting is the quiet hero of every party I plan. The bouncy moments get the videos, but the painting chair is where overwhelmed kids catch their breath, shy kids get one-on-one attention, and the party's pace resets itself. As a mum, I am fussy about what touches children's skin in this climate: we use EU-compliant, water-based professional paints — never craft acrylics — and in Bali's heat and sweat that distinction matters double. Our painters carry mirror cards, work in shade, and yes, they can do "a butterfly but make it a ninja butterfly". They have heard everything.
What We Set Up
Face Painting Station
A shaded chair-and-mirror setup with a professional painter — full faces or fast cheek art depending on queue length. About 12–15 full designs per hour.
Craft Tables
Age-matched making: slime labs, bead jewellery, mask decorating, sand art or kite colouring. Everything is prepped in kits so no child waits while scissors are found.
Glitter & Tattoo Bar
Cosmetic-grade biodegradable glitter and press-on tattoos for kids (and adults) who do not want a full face — the fastest queue at any party.
Take-Home Favours
Whatever the kids make goes home in named bags — which quietly solves the party-favour question and beats another plastic toy.
Built for Bali Conditions
Painting faces in 32°C is its own craft. Sweat lifts cheap paint within the hour, so we use sweat-resistant professional brands, set the station in deep shade, and paint after the running-around games, not before — a detail that saves a lot of smudged tigers. Everything removes with water and mild soap at bath time. For children with sensitive skin we carry hypoallergenic ranges and do a quick inner-arm patch test at the start of the party; parents of eczema kids, just flag it when booking.
Crafts are matched to age the same way our entertainers match games: sand art and sticker masks for 3–5, slime and bead bracelets for 6–9, friendship-bracelet bars and tie-dye for tweens and teens. A craft station also makes a brilliant calm anchor at pool parties — somewhere dry and shaded for kids taking a break from the water. Booked alone or inside a full package, setup and clean-up are always included.
How It Works
Pick stations and theme
Face painting, crafts or both — tell us ages, headcount and theme so kits match the party.
We size the team
One painter per 12–15 children keeps queues short; big parties get two painters or a tattoo bar to split the line.
Shaded setup on site
Stations are set in shade with covers for craft tables, ready before guests arrive.
Painted, crafted, packed
Designs all afternoon, favours bagged and named, station packed away clean — paint comes off in the bath, memories stay.
Pricing
A face painting station starts from IDR 700,000 for two hours. Craft tables run from IDR 900,000 including all materials and favour bags for up to 15 children. The glitter and tattoo bar is IDR 500,000 as an add-on. Combined face painting + crafts is IDR 1,400,000 — and inside a Classic or Grand package it is cheaper still. Full list on the pricing page.
