I will be blunt about this one, parent to parent: a children's pool party without a dedicated lifeguard is not a party, it is a risk with balloons on it. Drowning is silent, and the adult chatting by the BBQ — or the entertainer mid-game — will not see it. That is why every BaliKidsParty pool party includes a certified lifeguard in the base price, whose only job is to watch the water. Not serve drinks, not take photos, not judge the cannonball contest. With that settled, a villa pool is honestly the best birthday venue on this island: built-in fun, contained space, and kids sleep like rocks afterwards.
What's Included
Certified Lifeguard
Pool-rescue and CPR certified, on the water for the entire swim window, with a parent briefing on pool rules before the first splash. One lifeguard per 12 swimmers.
Floats & Water Games
Giant inflatables, ride-ons, water relay races, treasure dives and float parades — graded for ages and swim levels, with a shallow-end programme for little ones.
Poolside Setup
Shaded snack station, fruit and drinks, towel baskets and a dry-zone craft table for kids taking a break. Balloon styling around the pool optional.
Structured Swim Windows
We run swim time in blocks with dry-land games between — it keeps energy manageable, gives the lifeguard clean headcounts, and stops the dreaded blue-lipped shivers.
How We Keep Pool Parties Safe (and Still Fun)
Safety at a kids pool party is mostly invisible logistics. Before the day, we ask about each guest's swim level and split the pool plan accordingly: confident swimmers get deep-end games, beginners get the shallow step zone with a float rule, and non-swimmers get our best dry-land programme so they never feel like the B-list. The lifeguard runs headcounts at every transition, swim windows are capped at 40 minutes, and we keep a strict no-running deck policy that kids accept happily because the games are good enough to follow rules for.
The sun is the second adversary. We schedule swim blocks before 11:00 or after 15:30, set the snack and cake stations in shade, and build in a sunscreen-and-water break that we frame as a "pit stop" so nobody fights it. Most families book pool parties as part of a full package with an entertainer running the dry games — and for villas without a pool, we will happily tell you which of our areas have day-rentable pool villas that welcome parties.
How It Works
Send pool photos and ages
A couple of photos of your villa pool plus the guest ages and swim levels — we plan depth zones and the right float kit.
Approve the swim plan
You get a timeline with swim windows, games, food breaks and the lifeguard briefing, plus one fixed price.
We set up poolside
Floats inflated, shade and snack stations placed, pool rules agreed with parents — before the first guest arrives.
Lifeguard on, party on
The lifeguard owns the water, the host owns the fun, and we pack everything down at the end including a full deck dry-off.
Pool Party Pricing
Pool parties start from IDR 3,500,000 for up to 12 swimmers, including the certified lifeguard, float kit, water games host and poolside snack setup. Larger groups add a second lifeguard (IDR 500,000) — automatic, not optional, above 12 swimmers. As part of a Grand package the pool module is discounted; full numbers on the pricing page.
